Nearly every woman deals with hair removal as part of her regular beauty routine. Excess hair (Hirsutism) is a frustrating problem, causing emotional stress and a low self esteem.
Electrolysis can permanently remove unwanted hair that causes distress and embarrassment. If excess hair is one problem you would like to eliminate, electrolysis (permanent hair removal) can help you do just that and the results are more than skin deep. This refreshing new look will work wonders for your confidence and self esteem.
Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. After a very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle, the hair is removed with tweezers by sliding it out after the hair has released and been destroyed from electrolysis, this hair will no longer grow back. It is gone forever!
Most areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis, including the eyebrows, face, neck, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and underarms. Men generally are ears, neck, eyebrows, and patches of hair that are bothersome. There are generally no permanent side effects, but sometimes a temporary, slight reddening of the skin may occur for a few hours.
Electrolysis works on all color and types of hairs, it is safe, it is permanent. It is still today the only permanent method of permanent hair removal method approved by the FDA and the AMA.
According to the FDA and AMA, Electrology is the ONLY existing permanent method of hair removal with no long term side effects. Laser promoters use terms such as "permanent reduction" to describe what is in most cases is only a proven a temporary method of hair removal. Laser is still a relatively new science and has not been evaluated for long-term safety of skin and health. Side effects of laser hair removal can be blistering, hyper-pigmentation first degree burns, swelling, redness, pain and serious scabbing that can result is scarring.
Electrology Treatment - is a fine pre-sterilized probe that is inserted into the follicle where the unwanted hair is growing from. A small amount of heat is applied and reaches to the root of the hair where it grows from. The heat cauterizes and kills the root and the hair slides out and is gone forever. . .
The heat from electrolysis kills the cell that creates the hair at the root. The fine probe is inserted down into the same follicle the hair is growing from. The small amount of heat energy is then applied to kill the hair root

WHY?....
because it causes hairs to become more deep, coarse, and distorts the follicles which causes breakouts and ingrown hairs, and worse causes more hair growth from stimulation of the pulling actions at the blood supply to each hair.
Electrolysis works on all color of hair (even gray red or white, coarse or fine hair)
You do not have to stay out of the sun prior to treatment although you don't want to be sun burned it will make the treatment more uncomfortable for you
Aftercare is minimal keeping treated area clean w/astringent based product for 24 hours after treatment. You may be in sun within 24 hours after treatment as well.
Minimal discomfort and minimal side effects!
Laser is the newest technology of hair removal and is NOT approved by the FDA. Although it does reduce the amount of hair in areas where it is very black and coarse on certain skin tones. If a Laser clinic or spa tells you it is permanent that is just not true. Laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage delays hair growth, most of the time finer but sometimes not. Laser WILL NOT work on any color hair than black coarse hairs. The side effects of laser can be hyper and hypo pigmentation, rashes, patchy or crusting looking skin, burns or blistering, and scarring
Whereas: Electrolysis works on all color and types of hair whether they are white and fine, to coarse red hair, and has little side effects.
